The short answer
Construction debris removal with Roa Solution Junk Removal starts at $190. Debris is heavy, so weight matters more here than on a furniture pickup: drywall, tile, plaster, concrete and dirt are priced by weight as well as space. Text photos for an estimate; heavy loads and full truckloads get reviewed before we give you a number, and there's no guaranteed total.

Why debris is priced differently
A pile of cabinets and lumber is mostly space. A pile of tile, plaster or broken concrete the same size can weigh far more. That's why we ask what's in the pile.
| Material | What it means for the price |
|---|---|
| Lumber, framing and cabinets | Mostly truck space. Much of it breaks down and stacks. |
| Drywall and plaster | Heavier than it looks. |
| Tile, flooring and countertops | Dense. Weight adds up fast. |
| Concrete, dirt, brick and rock | Heavy, so send photos for an estimate. |
| Roofing debris | Heavy for the space it takes. |
| Packaging and job-site trash | Light and bulky. |

Access and labor on a job site
Where the debris sits changes the labor. A pile by the driveway goes faster than debris in a backyard behind a side gate or in an upstairs bathroom.
We load it from wherever it sits, so you don't have to drag it to the curb.
First-time commercial clients pay upfront for the first job. After that, we invoice contractors, property managers and businesses on net 10 or net 30 terms, and we do after-hours and weekend pickups for businesses.
Permits and diversion rules
In Pasadena, permitted projects, including residential remodels valued at $20,000 or more, all residential additions and all demolitions, must divert at least 75% of construction and demolition waste, tracked in Green Halo under Municipal Code Chapter 8.62.
We don't file diversion reports, Green Halo entries or county recycling plans for you. If your permit needs documented diversion, sort that out with your contractor or the city before you book.

What the city will and won't take
City bulky pickups are built for furniture and appliances, not remodel debris.
Self-hauling is an option if you have a truck. Republic's Huntington Beach transfer station takes self-haul construction debris, clean concrete and clean dirt. Its rate sheet effective Jan 1, 2025 lists a 1-ton minimum, $118.78 a ton for clean concrete or clean dirt, and $138.21 a ton for processed C&D with diversion.
- City of Los Angeles: bulky pickup excludes construction materials such as concrete, bricks and dirt.
- Whittier: excludes construction and demolition debris, including dirt, concrete, tile, drywall and rock.
- Santa Ana: excludes construction and demolition waste.
- Torrance: excludes construction debris, including wood, concrete, bricks, drywall and dirt.

What to send in your photos
For debris, the materials matter as much as the size of the pile.
Text them to (562) 219-9266. We text back an estimate. Your quote covers what's in your photos; if more items are added on pickup day, the price is adjusted for them.
- The pile from two angles, with something for scale
- Close shots of the materials: drywall, tile, wood, concrete
- Where it sits and the path to the street
- Where the truck and trailer can park
- Whether it's a permitted job with diversion paperwork
