The short answer
A hoarder cleanup with Roa Solution Junk Removal starts at $190, but these are larger projects, so every one gets an estimate first, from photos or an on-site visit. Volume, weight, access and labor set the price, and working at the pace the family needs is part of the labor. We never give a guaranteed total over the phone.

Why hoarding jobs get an estimate first
From the doorway, it's hard to tell how much is in a room. Piles can reach high, closets are full, and the garage or side yard may be packed too.
Photos help, but some homes need a visit before we can give a number. That's normal. The estimate covers what we saw; if more is added, the price is adjusted for it.
What sets the price
Truck space, type of material, weight, access and labor price every job. In a hoarded home, each one weighs a little differently.
| Factor | Why it matters here |
|---|---|
| Volume | How many rooms, how deep the piles, and whether the garage and yard are included. |
| Weight | Papers, books, magazines and bagged items are heavier than they look. |
| Narrow paths | When hallways and doorways are tight from piles, every load takes longer to carry out. |
| Searching and sorting | Looking for papers, photos or keepsakes as we go takes more crew time. |
| Pace | Working room by room, at a pace that works for the family, is part of the labor. |
| Access and parking | Stairs, long carries and where the truck can park. |

Tell us what to keep or look for
Tell us anything that must be kept or looked for: papers, photos, keepsakes. Put it in a short list and send it with your photos.
If the person who lives there wants a say in what goes, plan for that. A slower pace is fine; it just goes into the estimate.
What we can't take
We don't handle hazardous waste: paint, chemicals, solvents, asbestos, medical waste or propane tanks. A home that's been full for years can hold some of these. Needles and medicines count as medical waste.
In the City of Los Angeles, LA Sanitation's bulky pickup doesn't take medicines, needles or hazardous materials and points residents to its S.A.F.E. Centers. The Los Angeles-Glendale S.A.F.E. Center is free for City of LA and LA County residents, up to 15 gallons or 125 pounds a visit. Orange County's household hazardous waste centers are free for county residents with the same 15-gallon, 125-pound limit per trip.

Help beyond the haul-out
Hoarding is often about more than stuff. If you're looking for support for yourself or someone in your family, start with local resources.
We clear the home room by room and haul everything away. We're a junk removal crew, not counselors.
What to send in your photos
Send what you can. Partial photos still help, and we'll tell you if a visit makes more sense.
