The short answer
Florence-Firestone is served by LA County's Firestone Garbage Disposal District, where Republic Services collects bulky items, green waste, appliances and e-waste once a week on request at no charge. There's no quantity limit, and the cost is in the district assessment on your property tax bill. Not every address is in the district, so check yours.
