The short answer
Valley Vista Services picks up bulky items in Cypress, up to 10 items per pickup for single-family homes. Only 2 pickups are available for the rest of 2026, and the full 4 a year start in 2027. Book at least 48 hours before your regular trash day.

Sources disagree: Voice of OC reported in April 2025 that Cypress allowed only 2 free pickups a year; the city page now says only 2 are available for the rest of 2026 and the full 4 a year start in 2027. Confirm with Valley Vista Services before you set anything out.

When the city pickup doesn’t fit
The program works when the items are at the curb and can wait for the pickup day. If they're still inside, upstairs or in the backyard, you're over the limit, or you need them gone sooner, we carry them out and haul them away. Pricing starts at $190; see junk removal in Cypress or single-item pickup.
